Assalamualaikum..

huhu..i hate when it comes to the end of semester..(but i love the semester break..ekekek:D) this period of time..i was the bz'iest person in the world..(kalah PM;p) assignment..project..exam..arghhhhh!!..i hate this...

1) ive got 4 days left before accounting exam..huhu..me-> xstudy mende pn lagi..errr..anything left in my mind??..oh no..nothing!! dang it..quick go n open the notes n studyyy!!....times running..hurry up... (tensen arr pk..zzzz lagi besh:D)

2) 4 days left too to submit project paper n do presentation for (again) accounting... me-> alamak..cuak la plak..sempat ke nih..

3) 15 days left to submit project paper + journal review + book review for strategy management...me-> hehe..lek arrr..byk hari lagi:D

4) 20 days left to go for oral exam for ED.. (huh..oral exam??1st time nih..msti mcm intebiu keje kan..kan??..)

**hati kecilku berbisik..(menjerit sebenarnya:D)..udah2 ler blogging..g buat to-do-list tuh..lalu..naluriku membalas..ye la ye la..nk buat la nih..huhu..

-> looks like i will break the record to do marathon straight the whole week to finish up my to-do-list..uwaaaaa....xbeshnyee!!..

**namun otak kecilku mententeramkan keadaan..bersabar..do things smartly..then u will enjoy it during the break semester..hoorayy!! ..im loving it;)

cheese tart

welcome another manic monday..yess i am so lazy rite now..dunno y..before log in to blogging, so many ideas play around in my mind..but suddenly......%*^ black out..hmmm...neway..lets watchout my cheezzee tart..yummmy..(tgk gambo je la yek..maleh nak taip recipe..hehehe..kalu ade req.la baru edit recipe..pun tgk kerajinan:D)

alkisah..taiyib..tersebutla kisah..taiyib..di suatu ptg yg hening..taiyib...(hehehe..crazy of me.. :D) actually my intention (cewah..cam formal jek) was to finish up the balance of topping cheese (remember i baked a carrot cake topping wth cheese) haaaaa..thats lead to the making of cheese tart.. (ade la dlm seminggu lebih topping cheese tu terperap dlm fridge:D) so i make use of it as a filling..and know what..the taste was great..hahaha..perasan lagik;p and the best part is my hubby love it --> it was really my pleasure;) toing**toing**...(me: aku di awang-awangan..ekekek) even tho it doesnt' look as nice as selling at the bakery..but..hehehe..ape ade pada rupa;p

petua-petui

hmmm lately my entry mostly about food, recipe n cooking..buhsan gaks kan..so this time i want to share a few petua n petui exclusively (cam bagus jek nak exclusively2;p) tru my real experience (ade la jgk yg dpt dari experience org..hehehe:D) ...cam nenek kebayan plak nk kasi petua-petui kt org:D

actually im glad to hear good news tht many of my frens delivered their baby safely..congratulations to all..welcome to d club (ekceli xde club pn:D)..so here are some of petua-petui tht i think some of it were coincidence tru! (we cannot say its confirm true..back to d nature..only by Allah's permit, all things can be happened;)) while some of it were not..just take it as a knowledge..but if it is coincidence tru, dont rely 100% on the believe of the petua..nnti bida'ah plak jadinya..remember..the most powerfull is Allah..lets check it out..sape yg kena;p

1) kalau baby tersedu-> koyakkan bucu tisu, basahkan dgn air n lekat kat ubun2 baby.. (hmm i hv no idea what is the relationship between wet tissue sticked on the ubun2 wth the sedu..perhaps there is scientific explaination..but ive tried, sometime jadik sometime xjgk..hehe)

2) kalau baby selsema -> sapu vicks pada tapak kakinya..logicaly tapak kaki adlh tempat masuknya segala 'bendasing2'..sbb tu kalu org kena rasuk or histeria,mostly the medicineman akan picit ibu jari kaki...same la kot cam virus selsema tuh..well thts my personel theory and doesnt prooved true..dont take it as a fact:D (but frm the info ive got, dont exposed ur newborn baby to VICKS until at the age more than 1 year..it comes wth scientific reason on the purpose to avoid harm-ness to ur baby.)

3) sentiasa bedung baby-> sbut betul2 eh..utk baby bedung..bukan BENGKUNG..tu utk ibu baby;p..remember my hubby mula2 dulu (rsnya smpai skang kot still camtu..:P) dia slalu confuse bedung n bengkung..bila i xbedung Aqeel jek..dia mula la bising..nape x BENGKUNG Aqeel..i just answered: "Aqeel xpakai bengkung"..then he realize la its not bengkung..hmmm..man alwiz like tht..xpeka mende2 tradisional nih (my assumption jek:D..hehehe..oopss..sori ye hubby..terkutuk jap..hehe..ampun..ampun)..neway..emm this thing ade kebenarannya kalu diikutkan logik akal la..nowadays moden mom jarang nak bedung their baby..bedung penting sbnrnya utk membentuk dan menguatkan lagi anggota badan baby..n nak luruskan tgn n kaki baby yg dh 9 bulan dok dlm perut kan..dlm perut mana bole lurus..hehe..tu rasional logiknya la..tp yg kita xnmpk..yg org tua slalu pentingkan adalah ianya utk mengelakkan semangat baby anda ilang..rsnya sume org tau kot..baby ni ade semangat dia..semangat dia ni kalu ilang mmg sampai besar la dia akn jadi penakut..some more baby xkan mudah meragam and jg mlm sbb semangat dia kuat utk menghalang gangguan makhluk Allah yg halus tu yg mmg kita tau dorang la paling suka kat baby..insyaAllah betul bende ni..so bila baby sentiasa dibedung, dia akn rs secure n jarang terperanjat..harus diingat, setiap kali baby terperanjat, semangatnya sdikit2 terhakis or terganggu..so ingtla..bedungla baby semasa dlm pantang especially n smpai umur dia 4 bln optionally..lagi bagus sbnnya..my son dulu my mom bedungkan sampai 3 bln...tp bila dh abis pantang tu xdela all the time bedung mcm dlm pantang..just setiap kali lepas mandi bedung la 2-3 jam..pastu kasi can la kat dia nak menggeliat bebas kan;)

4) jgn ciumkan baby boy n baby girl, bcoz nnti baby lambat bercakap -> this thing im not sure the truthness coz my baby xckp lagi..he just make his own sound..bahasa dia sdirila..tuh..hehehe

5) jgn sikat rambut baby sehingga kesemua btg gigi telah tumbuh -> haha..mcm lucu tp rasionalnya petua nih adlh dikhuatiri gigi yg akn tumbuh jarang seperti sikat.. (mcm nak terguling gelak pn ade..tp xmoh la terlalu angkuh sampai nak mempersendakan mende2 nih..maybe ni kepercayaan org dulu2..its up to them..kalu jadi, kebetulan Allah nak jadikan camtu..if not alhamdulillah..tawakkaltuA'lallah)

6) kalau baby kembung -> mende nih mmg common la utk newborn baby..but Alhamdulillah my son very rarely kena kembung..maybe bcoz of the factor of my eating habits + anti-colic FM bottle..of course eating habits influence most..(if u r breastfeed)..back to d topic..kalu baby kembung of course sapu minyak yu yee ke,minyak Afiat ke..but to avoid baby kembung, ajar n biasakan baby tido meniarap..so tht perut dia akn sentiasa tertekan n angin pn xmasuk..yg penting pusat dia jgn dibiarkan terdedah.

7) jgn biarkan baby pandang ke atas..ok baby kan all the time baring jek..so mase dia baring tuh, jgn biarkan mata dia tgk atas sampai dia terdongak..org tua2 ckp la..bkn sy yg ckp tau:D ..dorang ckp baby kan bole nampk sume makhluk2 Allah yg halus yg mana kita xdpt lihat dgn mata kasar..so kalu dia pnadang atas, memudahkan makhluk2 halus tu kacau dia n membuatkan baby meragam..n ade a few lg sbeb why ..tp xingt:D hehehe..

8) ni sekiranya terdapat kematian berdekatan kediaman anda:

**sapu kapur kat blakang telinga baby..-> emm ni pn xsure why tp rasionalnya adlh utk mengelakkan baby ternampk or terkena badi si mati...

**klu bole tutup sume pintu n tingkap ->bkn ape utk mengelakkan org yg menziarahi si mati menegur atau menyapa baby ..jika ahli keluarga yg tinggal serumah pegi menziarahi si mati, make sure mandi terlebih dahulu sejurus pulang dari menziarahi sblm memegang atau menyapa baby. emm ni ade logiknya..badi mayat kan mmg ade kerasnya..bkn baby jek..org tua pn bole kena badi mayat..tp kalu org tua xpe lagi at least kita tau..klau baby camno..nak ckp xreti..

9) hmm..so ape lagi ek..haaa org tua2 ckp..lepas baby dh berumur 2 minggu, mandikan dgn air paip biasa yg sejuk tu..xyah campur air panas suam..ini utk menjadikan tulang baby kuat n keras..->this thing kebetulan betul n jadi kat my fren..dia mandikan anak dia dgn air sejuk jek..alhamdulillah xde kena selsema pn..n tulang dia mmg terasa kuat..kalu dukung dia mmg bole tahan la berat dia..kita bole tau berat baby sbb tulang kuat or berat sbb badan dia mmg berat (ala dgn kata lain mcm lemak..padahal bby mana ade lemak:D..tu conth la)

10) jgn baby mkn pulut -> nnti baby gagap bila dh bole berckp..hmm ths thing pn i hv no idea the relationship..somemore Aqeel xpandai ckp lagi..hehe..but mmg i xpnh bg mkn pulut lg..sbb pulut tu melekit2..nnti msti dia akn termunta sbb lekat kat tekak..emm maybe tu sbb2 yg logik akal la..:D (pepandai jek buat teori sdirik..ekekek)

carrot cake topping cheese

Assalamualaikum..

finally i did it..carrot cake -mummyhanny's recipe;) 1stly thnx to mummyhanny for the recipe. the taste was undescribeable..(cewah..cam sedap sgt je aku buat:D) but it is..my hubby did compliment me. hehe..(kembang semangkuk jap;p)..as usual..here u go..lets sharing..(mummyhanny dpt pahala tau coz ilmu dipanjangkan...err paham x what im trying to say:D)

ingredients: -> i did some alteration on the ingredients..hehe..

1) 2 cups flour ( mine = 1 1/2 cwn tepung superfine)

2) 2 cups sugar ( mine = 1 cwn brown sugar 1/2 cwn castor sugar)

3) 4 eggs (err..i put 3 only..sbb telor abis:D..sbb tu tepung pn kurang sket..pepandai jek aku nih..nasib baik jadi gk..;))

4) 1 1/3 cup vegetable oil (mine = 3/4 cwn minyak masak..minyak abis gk..ckp pn 1 cwn:D)

5) 4 cups shredded carrot (mine = 2 cwn jek..bcoz i dont want too many carrot inside..hehe)

6) 3/4 cup raisins (i didnt put this bcoz i dont like raisin in a cake)

7) 2 tsp baking powder (mine = 1 1/2 ->pepandai lagik;p)

8) 2 tsp baking soda (mine = 1 1/2)

9) 2 tsp ground cinnamon (mine = 1 tsp jek..i dont like this also..but since mummyhanny said if w/out cinnamon such something missing..hehe..so i just put as a syarat jek..but at last the taste is good la..so better put it as wht ingredient told:D)

10) 1 tsp salt (mine = no salt ...ni bkn pepandai..lupe sbnrnya:D)

11) 1 cup blended almond -> jgn blend terlalu halus..then bakar dulu..yg ni kalu letak mmg marvellous rs dia..hehe

Steps:

1. Guna mixer, pukul telor n gula hingga kembang

2. masuk minyak tepung, baking soda, baking powder, garam n cinnamon -> 1 by 1

3. masuk plak carrot yg dh disagat n raisin kalu nak letak raisin (or any soour fruit..prune ke..im thinking to put asam hawflakes yg mcm duit2 tu..tp takut xsedap plak.)+almond.

4. bakar pada suhu 170C, 40-45 minutes (mine = microwave jek..hmm after this nak try kukus la plak..msti lagi soft ngebu gitu.)

topping cheese:

1) guna mixer gk..pukul sehingga kembang cream cheese philadelphia + 1 1/2 cups icing sugar + butter sket..tu jek la..pastu tepek je atas kek tu..;)
